The “RELIANT” was orginally a jerry Gucconie hull. He was a local swordfish guy. It was built as a stick boat. Seaway did the house, interior and super structure. Dave fuller glassed the hull. The Reliant had a 453 Detroit with a TR_1 outdrive. What a great setup for this little boat. That combination of power and outdrive made it really maneuverable and a great towboat. The fuel return line had a tee and valves in it that was hooked to a hose. This could be used to fuel other boats.
